Ultraclean Waterra Groundwater Filters for Metals Analysis
We manufacture Waterra inline filters in our cleanroom in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Most popular are our 0.45 micron filters used in groundwater monitoring, metal analysis, programs all around the world. Their job is to remove the suspended particulate from groundwater samples so the dissolved metal content can be determined.
Waterra filters simply plug into your pump tubing or even bailers. Run the water through the filter and capture the flow in a sample vial. We have a rigorous testing protocol that assures that our very high quality filter are non-detect for 33 metals as illustrated below.
- Filter media is polyethersulphone, body is polyethylene and media support is polypropylene
- Excellent particle retention above the target micron size range
- Maximum utility gained from the media, even with the most turbid samples
- Built in compound 3/8” threaded nipple and ½” barbed inlet
- PFAS, PFOS & PFOA free

Waterra Filters Rinse Clean!
All Waterra Inline Disposable Micron Filters are pre-rinsed with one litre of de-ionized water to ensure purity, and are now certified to rinse clean. Independent ICP/MS analysis proves it, just look at the chart below.

Not all water filters are created equal
Our Waterra FHT-45 high turbidity filter contains 600 cm² of media. Some products on the market call themselves high capacity, but how could this be true when they contain less than 60% of the same filter media?
