Waterra LDPE Low Flow Tubing

$USD 29.39$USD 132.25

Low Density Tubing is the most popular tubing choice for use in shallow groundwater monitoring wells. LDPE tubing is more flexible than HDPE and is less likely to develop a kink.

The Waterra Low Flow System is ideal for  sampling narrow diameter piezometers < 1 inch when used in conjunction with a Waterra D-13 or SS-13 Foot Valve.

Waterra LDPE Low Flow Tubing comes in 100, 200 (USA only) and 500 foot coils and measures 3/8 x 1/2 inch.

Description

Waterra LDPE Low Flow Tubing (Low Density Polyethylene) can be used as part of the Waterra Low Flow System. The difference in rigidity between LDPE and HDPE does not have a significant impact on the performance of the inertial pump in shallow wells. LDPE tubing is also recommended for use with the Waterra’s carried line of 12 volt Engineered Plastic Submersible Pumps.

FEATURES

  • produced from virgin polyethylene resins
  • Waterra does not use any regrind product in any of our tubing
  • does not contain any UV stabilizers*
  • coils of tubing are individually poly bagged and are stored in sealed boxes, protected from UV light sources
  • Waterra Foot Valves are guaranteed to properly fit onto and into Waterra tubing.
  • the LDPE resin supplier declares that PFAS class chemicals such as Polyfluoroalkyls, Perfluoroalkyl and Perfluoroalkyl substances (such as Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS), Perfluorohexane Sulfonic Acid (PFHxS) or perfluoroalkyls) are not intentionally used and not expected to be present in the tubing.
  • FDA approved resin – food contact applications in accordance with .21 CFR 177.1520
  • Approximate Working Pressure @ 73 F
    • 3/8 x 1/2 in = 90 psi

*Leaving non UV protected polyethylene tubing exposed to sunlight or a UV light source will result in the material becoming brittle. The material can then fracture very easily. Keep your tubing protected from these light sources until you are ready to install it in your well and it will last for many years.

Waterra maintains a considerable stock of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) tubing and Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) tubing in a broad range of diameters and lengths. Our tubing is of the highest quality available and we are always working to keep our prices more than competitive.

Our tubing is always virgin material and is carefully packaged to ensure that it is always clean when you receive it.

Waterra LDPE Low Flow Tubing comes in 100, 200 (USA only) and 500 foot coils and measures 3/8 x 1/2 inch.
